MRS. HARRY ARMSTON & FAMILY
Artist/Sculptor Hal Stowers, ASLA
Peggy Armston commissioned Hal to create a sculpture and design concept to revitalize Armston Park, donated to the city by the Armston family years ago. This strategically located, corner pocket park, serves as the western gateway to downtown Dunedin, Florida. Directly west is a city park, marina & the Gulf of Mexico.

to complete the sculpture fountain began early
the morning of 9-11-01…"
"As our team worked, we began to learn from passersby of the traumatic events taking place in our country. We were ready to stop, when shouts of “Keep up the good work! Beautiful!” & “thumbs up” came from the traffic slowly passing by… “something positive” in the midst of turmoil… so we finished the statement."
