A Transitional Act – A State of Mind

"UnFolding is a transitional act, a state of flowering… efflorescence…
like a beautiful hibiscus flower opening up to reach full bloom.  It is about becoming
more receptive to stimuli and to increasing environmental and spiritual awareness.

A large part of UnFolding is not letting certain outside influences dominate your thoughts. The world will try to interrupt… Although certain outside information is important, necessary and (can be) entertaining, it can also be valuable to take a break from it.
UnFolding increases peripheral awareness.
It is also an opportunity to focus on things you may not normally
take time to notice… and upon that which is
inspirational, joyful, uplifting, aesthetic and beautiful
– such as the play of sunlight, a sunrise or sunset, clouds,
a breeze, music, a work of art…

UnFolding can take place at any time, day or night…
and does not require being idle.  It is a state of mind –
purest in a contemplative mode, and a challenge to keep during activities.
UnFolding sometimes involves only moments or can be an extended celebration!"
We're not sure the world wants us to UnFold – but Hal and I do it anyway!
